Young Chef Young Waiter award winners announced
The Restaurant Association has named the winners of its Young Chef Young Waiter competition following the national final, held at Westminster Kingsway College in London.
Neil Borthwick from the capital’s Connaught Hotel won the award for best chef, with Phil Howard, chief judge, commenting: “The decision to award him first place was unanimous amongst the judges.”
Joseph Durrant from the Atrium Restaurant in Edinburgh was named best waiter. Details: www.ycyw.co.uk
