p*ojectiondesign revives ancient Chinese cave art
Norwegian-based p*ojectiondesign created an immersive exhibition at Smithsonian’s Arthur M Sackler Gallery, US, in December 2012.
Visitors to the Pure Land: Inside the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang exhibition saw 3D 360-degree panoramic imagery of paintings and sculptures from ancient rock caves known as Bhaisajyaguru’s Eastern Paradise in China, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The exhibition used six F10 AS3D projectors.
