£106k revamp for Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre
Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, has closed for a week in order to allow a £106,000 refurbishment to take place.
The attraction will be closed until 4 March while Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) undertakes the work, which will include the installation of new audio visual equipment. NCC cabinet member for culture and community John Cottee said: "Having a good standard of facilities is part of our customer service and enhances people's experience when visiting Sherwood Forest."
