£10m club for JJB

JJB has unveiled plans for a £10m fitness club and retail store as part of its national expansion plans.

To be developed by Bildurn Properties, the facility will be located on a 35,520sq ft (3,300sq m) site at Victoria Retail Park in Nottingham.

“We have been looking for some time for a suitable site in this area to roll out the new retail/health club concept,” says Barry Dunn, JJB’s property director. “This location is ideal and we look forward to another successful club opening soon.”

JJB currently operates 44 fitness clubs in the UK with two more due to open soon in Llanelli and Thanet. Clubs include a fully-equipped gym, pool, studio classes, steamroon and a members’ bar.
