Stoke-on-Trent’s indoor aqua park, Water World on Festival Park, has just opened a new £150,000 children’s adventure area.

Called the Aqua Splash Jungle House, it is aimed at encouraging toddlers confidence in water alongside providing fun to more established young children.

An interactive play structure has been built in the existing toddler pool area, complete with a scramble net, rope bridge, crawl tube and water canons.

Water World owner, Mo Chaudry, said: "Part of an on-going programme of expansion, the jungle house represents a new generation of interactive nursery structures. I would like to think that our new adventure zone will be both exciting and fun for our younger visitors and families – and play a vital role in bringing confidence to non-swimmers in a safe environment."
