£1.75m sports facility for Winchester University
Work is underway on a £1.75m sports facility at Winchester University.
An Olympic standard, eight-lane athletic arena, with field facilities, is being built, as well as a full-sized all-weather hockey pitch.
Funded by Winchester City Council, the University and Sport England, the hockey pitch is due for completion at Christmas and the athletic track will be ready for spring 2008.
Smith Construction is taking care of the design and build.
