£200m motor racing plan for South Wales?
Moto GP and World Touring Car Championship events could be held in South Wales after plans were unveiled for a major new £200m motor racing circuit in Ebbw Vale.
According to the BBC, the Heads of the Valley Development Company is behind the project and is currently in discussions with the Welsh Assembly Government and the local council.
The proposed complex, which will have the potential to host major motor racing events, is to be located at the Rassau industrial estate off the Heads of the Valley road.
Paul Shackson, a spokesperson for the project, told the BBC: "We're hoping discussions will be concluded fairly soon and we can then reveal full details."
