£250,000 adiZone outdoor sports facility unveiled in Aberystwyth

A new adiZone outdoor multi-sports facility has officially opened in Aberystwyth, Wales, following a £250,000 contribution from the Welsh Government's Regeneration Fund.

It is the latest facility of its kind to open across the UK, with adiZones being rolled out on a nationwide basis as part of efforts to secure a lasting sports legacy from the 2012 Games.

Located in Penparcau, the new adiZone provides facilities for basketball, football and tennis, in addition to a climbing wall, a freestyle area and an outdoor gym.
