£3m coaster for Adventure Island
The Adventure Island theme park in Southend-on-Sea, UK, is to unveil its new £3m rollercoaster by February half term.
The Rage coaster – designed and manufactured by the German company Gerstlauer Elektro – features a 24m vertical drop and loop and a 360 degree barrel roll, which will give the 24 passengers in its three cars a 4.5 G force experience.
