£5m youth centre opens in Nottingham
A new youth centre has opened in Nottingham following a £5m investment in the renovation and transformation of a Grade II-listed building in the city centre.
Base 51 has led the NGY myplace project in collaboration with a number of other partners, which include Nottingham City Council (NCC) and NHS Nottingham.
Facilities at the centre include a fitness suite; dance and recording studios; and a café. Services include health and wellbeing support and fitness sessions.
It is one of four youth facilities across the East Midlands to benefit from £20m of investment through the nationwide myplace initiative.
