£6.4m Belfast leisure centre opens
The first new leisure centre to be built in Belfast for over 20 years opened last week.
The Falls Road centre has cost around £6.4m and includes a sports hall, 25m pool, fitness suite and studios.
Councillor Marie Cush, chair of the city council’s community and leisure services sub-committee said: “The council is committed to creating a healthy city by building modern facilities, providing new opportunities for citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle.”
