The Visitor Attraction Expo (VAE) has announced a series of seminars led with a session by Partyman World founder and author James Sinclair.

Sinclair, author of entertainment business book The Millionaire Clown, will give a talk entitled Compete on Experience or Price at the conference thread of the trade show, which launched in 2015 at the ExCeL in London.

Sinclair has grown his children’s entertainment business, the Partyman Group, to a venture that now puts on 7,000 events a year. The entrepreneur will be sharing his insights with attendees at the expo.

The educational seminars, presented in association with BALPPA, have been scheduled for the second day of the show, which runs alongside EAG International at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London between 12 and 14 January 2016.

Enhance the Experience, Consider the Rainbow will be presented by the team from Autism Puzzles, a specialist family support charity. This session is designed to highlight the challenges faced by people with autism and advise operators on what they can do to ensure their autistic visitors have the best experience possible.

Finally, a seminar focusing on the rising popularity of trampoline parks will be presented by adventure play expert Peter Brown, operations director at AirSpace, Europe's largest indoor trampoline centre.

BALPPA has also announced it will partner Berg Toys to host a fundraising go-kart competition, with money raised donated to Help for Heroes. More details can be found on the VAE website.

VAE is a trade show for the leisure park, piers, zoos, FECs and adventure play sectors. The expo has a strong focus on exhibitors from the UK, attracting domestic buyers and those from abroad. As the trade show runs in tandem with the established amusements and gaming expo EAG International, visitors have the added benefit of being able to visit both events.
