Lemi creates earth-toned furniture finish Vita with the environment in mind

By reorganising our internal production processes to be more sustainable, we’re using less time, resources and energy
Credit: Lemi

Lemi has strengthened its commitment to sustainable production and created a new colour chart for its spa equipment using sustainable raw materials.

Called the Vita collection, the range is inspired by earthy tones and features four warm colours – white, cream, birch and smoke. All Lemi spa equipment can now be customised with Vita finishes.

The new colour chart joins Lemi’s existing duo of design customisation ranges – called Nefos (with 24 colours) and Spa Prestige (featuring 10 colours).

Vita is differentiated from these existing colour charts by its eco-friendly production process. To manufacture the range, Lemi works with phthalate-free plasticisers based on renewable raw materials, local and regional materials (sourced from Europe) and carbon-neutral energy powered by renewable energy sources.

“Just as a tree is born from a tiny seed, a more sustainable future is being built from small acts of goodness,” explained Matteo Brusaferri, GM of Lemi.

“Our new sustainably-minded finish makes our products even more oriented towards a concept of wellbeing that goes beyond the physical and mental.”

Lemi’s aim is to replace as many components of its spa equipment as possible with natural and renewable resources, without affecting the wear, resistance and longevity of its products.

Today, 70 per cent of Lemi’s wooden equipment is produced with FSC-certified lumber. Its recyclable packaging is also made from wood and cardboard and its mattress covers are free of synthetic dyes and toxic materials.

“By reorganising our internal production processes to be more sustainable, we’re using less time, resources and energy,” Brusaferri adds.

In addition, Lemi’s HQ is equipped with solar panels and LED lighting.
