We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Total Swimming Academies Team who will coordinate the Learn to Swim provision across Merseyside. The successful applicant will be expected to increase learn to swim and swimming participation opportunities to cover all age ranges from 3+ and promote the teaching programme to a wide audience.

Applicants will possess an ASA/STA/UKCC Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification or equivalent. With previous experience of the delivery of aquatic initiatives, you should be able to prioritise your workload, have good organisational, planning and communication skills, be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and have good experience of partnership working. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced check via DBS.

General Manager
This role requires an extraordinary manager with proven entrepreneurial flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy and determination to drive and grow the business. The role
- To oversee the launch of a brand new facility

The candidate
- Must have a proven and successful track record of management experience within a leisure related industry, preferably within the health and fitness sector
- Must be passionate about customer service and be entrepreneurial in the way they manage
- Must have a proven track record in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity as well as of recruiting and managing a successful team
- Ideally will have experience as a General Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility or have substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or other similar operational function
- Ideally will be REPS level 2 or higher qualified or be prepared to qualify

Everyone Active is seeking a high calibre, enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Exercise Referral Instructor who will contribute to the provision and delivery of the Exercise Referral Scheme across our Havering sites.

You will be responsible for motivating, advising and encouraging referred clients with varied medical conditions and abilities to participate in sports and physical activities. You will identify appropriate referrals, carry out assessments and follow up appointments, and design and implement safe and progressive personalised exercise programmes. You may also oversee/deliver exercise sessions to referred clients including gym and group exercise sessions (dependent on qualifications).

You will be responsible for tracking a client’s progress and following up non-attendance. So that the scheme can be monitored and evaluated effectively you will be competent in using IT and be able to use our in house iMAPCT database to enter client information. You will work closely with the Exercise Referral Administrator and Scheme Coordinator to ensure effective delivery, administration and promotion of the scheme.

If you hold a REPS accredited Level 4 Cardiac Rehab (desirable) or other Level 4 qualification, there may also be opportunities to support the delivery of additional referral pathways.

The Role Requires:
- Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification and a minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification (REPS accredited)
- Understanding of current Exercise Referral and NICE guidance (desirable)
- Experience of delivering one to one appointments and writing gym based exercise programmes
- Ability to write exercise programmes for people with medical conditions, understanding their needs and demonstrating empathy
- Ability to provide motivation and support making clients visit enjoyable and keep them coming back
- Good IT skills and the ability to follow processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; promoting equality and diversity
- Ability to ensure confidentiality, data security, and information governance compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage own work load; ability to work effectively and supportively as a team member

This role requires travel between sites across Havering.

The essential ingredients
We are looking for teachers who were born to swim, and who are keen to train in the ground-breaking Swimming Nature method. Applicants will need to attend an in-water interview to demonstrate they can swim to a high standard. Other requirements include:

- An ASA Level 2 or an STA Full Swimming Instructor Qualification or the equivalent international qualification
- Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer-facing/service environment
- A current lifesaving qualification (preferred although we can provide this if necessary)
- Excellent swimming ability with up-to-date knowledge of the sport

The role will work closely with both the Leisure Centres in the Selby District and Selby District Council to ensure the smooth running of the highly successful MILI - adult weight management programme, Macmillan physical activity programme, Healthy Schools and Exercise Referral programmes etc.

The role will take a strategic lead in developing the Selby Wellbeing Team as well as the physical activity, health & sports offer in the district. The role will be part of the integrated Wellbeing Team across Cannock, Selby and Wigan.

Skills and qualities required:

Applicants must have:
* A relevant degree or equivalent/further professional qualification in a sport, health or physical activity related subject OR considerable work experience in the sport, health or physical activity field.
* Physical activity, Health or Sports coaching awards, or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a physical activity, health or sports development related role.
* Experience of co-ordinating physical activity or sports development programmes and events.
* Experience of developing and managing key partnerships.

You will also be highly organised, highly motivated, the ability to work under pressure, ensuring key priorities are met.

Your key responsibilities will be:
* Responsible for the management and delivery of a specific range of programmes in a product area.
* Coordination of operational delivery.
* Marketing and promotion of the range of programmes.
* Lead and develop funding bids for the product remit.

General Manager
This role requires an extraordinary manager with proven entrepreneurial flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy and determination to drive and grow the business. The role

The candidate
- Must have a proven and successful track record of management experience within a leisure related industry, preferably within the health and fitness sector
- Must be passionate about customer service and be entrepreneurial in the way they manage
- Must have a proven track record in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity as well as of recruiting and managing a successful team
- Ideally will have experience as a General Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility or have substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or other similar operational function
- Ideally will be REPS level 2 or higher qualified or be prepared to qualify
