Loch Fyne goes from strength to strength
Restaurant operator, Loch Fyne, is on target to become the sector's market leading seafood restaurant after doubling turnover year on year, with projections for this year £750,000 ahead of expectations. Every venue made a profit for every month last year, with new sites making a profit within the first month of opening. Since last November, Loch Fyne has opened five new sites, with another seven planned for the remainder of the year. Managing director, Mark Derry attributes the chain's success to location and quality: The Loch Fyne concept has its roots in the provinces and we have been careful to select towns and cities where it will be attractive to the local population. Our food is also unique and to be able to eat this quality of food in a friendly and informal environment at competitive prices is a very attractive proposition for the consumer. Last week Loch Fyne opened its 11th restaurant in Loughton, Essex.
