Reebok and online training platform GymCube have announced a new partnership with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REP) that will see the trio launch a new app for UK fitness professionals.

Developed by GymCube, the new app is designed to enable UK fitness professionals to earn money as online coaches, as well as improve their skill set and increase their knowledge.

In addition, it will give REP members access to a host of educational resources, including: video content, customisable exercise plans and even exclusive discounts.

The app will be supported by Reebok, as part of its commitment to its ReebokONE instructor network, and will drive customers, looking for online coaching, directly to the app, providing a marketplace for exercise professionals seeking to become online coaches.

Kevin Foster-Wiltshire, MD of GymCube, said: We've built the GymCube app for instructors who are interested in coaching people online but are unsure where or how to begin. As a REPs member, they can register on the app for free, it's simple and easy to use with no technical knowhow required, and payment to the coach is paid for by the client before a session starts."

Mark Allin, senior digital manager at Reebok, said: "It's great to see the GymCube app come to life. We are all positive this important innovation for the UK fitness industry will help improve the standards of online fitness."
