Rooftop air-conditioning from Lennox
As part of an on-going working relationship with Bass Leisure Retail, Lennox UK has supplied a packaged air-conditioning system from its new range of European rooftop units, for a new restaurant and bar complex which has recently opened near Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
The city's former Royal Hotel has been refurbished into three separate facilities: the two lower levels into two new bars, an Edwards and O'Neil's, and the upper floors back into a hotel.
In order to optimise customer comfort, and meet both Justices Licensing legislation and the Public Places Charter on smoking - which calls for eight litres a second per person of fresh and exhaust - GW Consultants specified four Lennox's Linea rooftop units.
'The ability to meet the required size, capacity and of course price were all significant factors in the specification of Lennox units', commented Paul Thomas, Director at GW Consultants. 'Lennox's reputation, whose name is very well known in the sector, was also important.'
A total of 192 units are available across the three rooftop ranges - Smart, Linea and Flexy - with cooling only, heat pump, cooling with gas and dual fuel capabilities (heat pump with gas). Details: e-mail: [email protected]
