The universe's first space tourist blasted into orbit at the weekend, making the £14m price-tag the world's most expensive holiday. Californian Dennis Tito paid the £14m to the Russian space agency for his place on the Soyuz spaceship, due to arrive at the International Space Station today. The 60-year-old multi-millionaire will spend six days at the Space Station before returning to ground control in Kazakhstan on Sunday. Although Tito is not the first civilian to go into space, he is the first to have paid for his ticket, giving him the recognition as the world's first 'space tourist'.
