Overview

As a leading French skincare brand, we have an established salon and spa network and a loyal fan base within the UK and in over 100 countries worldwide. We offer a range of skincare and body-care treatments and homecare products together with a complimentary make-up range.

We are looking to strengthen our team with the creation of a new role of National Sales Manager, to lead our sales team and promote our presence into new markets and new accounts.

You will need to be driven to succeed with the ability to spot opportunities for the development of existing relationships and the promotion of new ones, so experience in the professional beauty industry is essential, as is experience in developing sales.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise growth and achieve targets in both your area and as a team.
• Build and grow long term customer relationships by working with them to develop their business and in turn, our business.
• Be the key entry to premium targets (chains, 5* spas)
• Develop and manage annual sales budgets and targets through achievable business goals and expectations.
• Assist in the development of a short, medium and long term marketing plan and business strategy to ensure significant sales growth from prospection and existing customers on a national level.
• Manage the existing sales team to achieve their sales targets through the development of KPIs and support in the field.
• Motivate and lead the sales team to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction whilst maintaining cost control and budgets.
• Attendance to customer’s salons and spas to build relationships, develop skills and turnover.
• Attending trade events, spa events and organising customer launches.
• Networking in the spa industry, customer groups, spa leaders and professional institutions.
• Liaison with National Educator to co-ordinate training needs.
• The role is split between new & established business: -
- For the coming year, 80% account management / 20% new business.
- Developing to 40% account management / 60% new business.
