We are recruiting for an Operations Manager (Spa).

Our ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Hospitality Management. You will also have at least 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, preferably a 5 star hotel.

The purpose of the role will be to drive and lead the commercial and financial performance of the spa ensuring complete visibility and maximising all opportunities and resources. To ensure that the highest service standards are adhered to, and that guest experience exceeds expectation. You'll be working closely with the General Manager in establishing and maintaining key business objectives, effective marketing/PR, operational brand standards, guest relations and personnel management.

Main duties include;
• Create and maintain relations with spa guests through having an active presence in spa reception and other key guest areas.
• Maintain consistent guest satisfaction through collating guest feedback received from hotel surveys and communicate this with the team, implementing changes or training where necessary.
• Communicate with the team to identify areas for improvement and to develop and implement a continuous improvement program.
• Develop an annual training plan with spa seniors and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
• Monitor all personnel procedures including rotas, sickness, holidays and payroll.
• Ensure the facility is adequately manned at all times. Oversee the smooth running of all business centres in the spa.
• Carry out daily briefings with the entire spa team, communicating guest information and revenue targets.
• Monitor service, operational standards and client satisfaction taking necessary action to Brand standards are maintained and quality is controlled.
• Hold structured and interactive spa team meetings on a monthly basis.
• Conduct weekly meetings with all staff about the following issues: weekly revenues problems, review of sales techniques, quality of staff work, training needs, any other items which may be a concern.
• To monitor retail displays and spa service displays, in the spa and public areas.
