The Inns of Aurora

Founded as a passion project in 2003 by Pleasant T. Rowland—noted philanthropist, educator, and creator of American Girl—the Inns of Aurora is the premier luxury resort in New York’s unspoiled Finger Lakes region. Recently featured in Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, and Town & Country, the Inns of Aurora earned its place in 2019 as one of the Top Fifteen Resorts in the U.S. in Travel+Leisure’s prestigious World’s Best Awards.

Tucked among the tiny Village of Aurora, the Inns of Aurora is a collection of exquisite architectural gems built between 1833 and 1909. Now brilliantly restored, the five inns, two restaurants, shop, programming center, and demonstration kitchen that span the Inns of Aurora campus create transformational experiences for its guests from around the world.

To enhance Aurora’s status as a travel destination, a world-class spa—a 21,000 square foot—is currently under construction and slated to open in late fall of 2020. With indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy circuits, (including five spa pools and two cold plunges), 10 treatment rooms, single-sex steam rooms and saunas, a 20-person outside co-ed sauna, restaurant, retail boutique, salon, and a spectacular art collection, the Spa at the Inns of Aurora will provide its guests experiences unmatched in the Northeast United States.

Rasa Spa

Rasa Spa, proud to be a woman-owned business, has been actively cultivating wellness in the Finger Lakes region since 2006. Rasa’s approach and philosophy to whole person health is evident in the spa’s knowledgeable, professional staff, and array of services offered at its various locations. Rasa sets itself apart from other spas by customizing each client’s therapeutic massage, body treatment, or skincare service to what each client’s needs are on that particular day. Rasa Spa is a perfect synthesis of quality service and deep respect for natural healing.

Rasa Spa, the region’s premier day spa, has partnered with the Inns of Aurora to provide treatment experiences and manage operations at the Spa. Together, Rasa Spa and the Inns of Aurora seek a dynamic Spa Director.
