2012 chiefs reveal disabled ticket options
A "wide range" of ticket options to ensure disabled people can experience the Olympic and Paralympic Games next summer have been unveiled by the Games' organisers.
The London Organising Committee of the 2012 Games (LOCOG) announced that products include accessibility requirements and are available at every venue across all price bands. Spectators will be able to specify accessibility requirements when applying for tickets as part of the LOCOG process, as well indicating whether a wheelchair space will be needed.
Ticketcare - a scheme available to disabled people without a wheelchair but who need a carer or a personal assistant - has also been launched. LOCOG chair Sebastian Coe said: "Our aim has always been to provide a wide range of services and ticket products for disabled people tailored to their needs, rather than a 'one size fits all' approach."
