Andras House plans hotel for Lincoln Centre scheme
Developer Andras House is planning to add a four-star hotel to its Lincoln Centre mixed-use scheme in the heart of Belfast city.
A date for the start of work and the number of rooms is yet to be decided.
Meanwhile, the success of one of Andras’ previous hotel schemes, the four-star 120-bed Ramada in the Lagan Valley region of South Belfast, has prompted the developers to extend its facilities. From January next year the hotel will boast new therapy rooms offering massages and spa treatments.
Andras is also the developer behind the refurbishment of the listed Cairndhu House in County Antrim, into a four-star hotel. The former country residence of Lord and Lady Dixon, Cairndhu House was acquired from Larne Council in 1996 and is an on-going project for the firm. See also Leisure Property October 2003, p 82
