Bamford appoints Kirsty Maccormick as head of spa
With more than 30 years of experience in the spa, beauty and wellness sector, Kirsty Maccormick has been appointed head of spa at luxury organic and wellness brand, Bamford.
She will be assisting in the development and international expansion of the spa business.
Maccormick’s CV includes roles at Hilton Worldwide, Champneys Health Resorts and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, with positions spanning therapist to spa director and corporate director of a large international hotel group.
"I am thrilled to be joining the team at the Haybarn Spa. Bamford’s sustainable philosophy is close to my heart and I look forward to developing the spa and its award-winning treatments,” said Maccormick.
1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, set to open in February 2017, will also feature a Bamford spa. In addition, Bamford will launch the Haybarn Spa, a new spa carriage aboard the ‘country house on wheels,’ the Belmond Royal Scotsman, in April 2017.
