Aqua leisure specialist Barr + Wray is on track for the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship season in India and Abu Dhabi.

Barr + Wray has been supporting the Marussia F1 Team, with its company logo prominently featured on the race cars of drivers Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi, at race weekends on 25-27 October and 1-3 November.

LDC, one of the investors in the Marussia F1 Team, has an association with Barr + Wray, which led to the aqua leisure company’s involvement in the two Formula One races.

Alister MacDonald, managing director of Barr + Wray said: "We are securing more and more business from the buoyant markets in the UAE and India and are terrifically proud to be a part of the Formula One Team for these weekends."

Based in Banbury, the Marussia F1 Team is one of the newer teams in the FIA Formula One World Championship. The team races in a distinctive red and black and drivers for the season are Max Chilton from the UK and Jules Bianchi from France.

The pool and spa specialists have designed, supplied and installed facilities for iconic hotels, resorts and health clubs across India and the Middle East, including Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait and The Leela Hotel in New Delhi.

The experts also designed, supplied and installed saunas, steam rooms, a spa bath, steam showers and ice fountains in Claridges Hotel and Resorts’ flagship hotel in New Delhi. More recently, Barr + Wray has secured two contracts with international hotel management company Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts totalling almost £1.5 million. Barr + Wray’s Dubai division will supply and install luxury spa thermal and pool facilities for the hotel group’s new luxury resorts in Dubai and Bahrain.

Two further projects for Ritz Carlton in Bangalore and Abu Dhabi have also been secured by the Middle East division and are in the process of being completed.
