Beautyworld Middle East underway in Dubai
The Business in Beauty Summit gets underway today (16 May) at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai, and includes a packed two days of speakers from the beauty and wellness industries.
The 21st edition of the conference and trade show runs through tomorrow at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, and includes more than 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries.
Today’s programme includes sessions on trend forecasts, technology, marketing, employee management and holistic beauty, as well as a keynote from Lisa Starr, senior consultant for Wynne Business, who will speak on “Achieving success in a busy spa marketplace.”
Tomorrow’s programme kicks off with a session on “How to design a ‘green’ spa,” by Theodora Kioussis, managing director and design director for Esadore International, and will also include sessions on digital advertising, employee management and motivation, beauty trends and halal cosmetics.
