Bromley MyTime unveils new-look golf centre
Bromley Mytime, the sports trust which operates leisure facilities on behalf of London Borough of Bromley, has unveiled £600,000 worth of new golf facilities at one of its sites.
The upgrading of Bromley Golf Centre, funded jointly by the council and the trust, includes a new 20-bay floodlit driving range with automatic Power Tees and a refurbished clubhouse.
Last year, the club also benefited from the introduction of three new holes, water features, bunkers and a practice area.
The new facilities were opened recently by trick shot star Geoff Swain of TV’s Golf Unplugged.
He said at the opening: “The driving range at Bromley Golf Centre is one of the best around. It has obviously been built with consideration to golfers with Power Tees, target greens and a practice bunker.
“It’s great to see local school children here and I hope that they continue to make use of this superb facility.” Details: www.bromleymytime.org.uk
