Bromley Mytime awarded IiP
The charitable trust which operates leisure facilities on behalf of the London Borough of Bromley, Bromley Mytime, has been awarded the Investors in People (IiP) Standard.
IiP is a national award which recognises good practice in staff training and development.
Steve Price, chief executive of Bromley Mytime, said: “I am delighted with this result which reflects the hard work put in by staff to ensure that our internal processes for the development and management of people meet the required IiP Standard.
“The assessor gave us positive feedback, but reminded us that this is just the beginning of a commitment to maintaining this status. It is crucial that staff at all levels work towards this continuous improvement.”
Bromley Mytime took over the running of the borough’s leisure facilities less than two years ago and operates 15 facilities including leisure and sports centres, golf courses and civic halls. Details: www.bromleymytime.org.uk
