La Cabana, a steakhouse in Buenos Aires in Argentina is being recreated by Orient-Express Hotels in a $6m renovation project.
With a layout said to be similar to that of 21 Club in New York, the décor of each of La Cabana’s dining areas is inspired by different regions of and provinces of Argentina, such as Patagonia, Salta and Mendoza.
With its large open fireplaces and walls lined with wine bottles La Cabana are hoping to bring a classic Gaucho style to the steakhouse.
La Cabana will be re-opening in September 2003. Overseeing the project is general manager, Micro Zampieri.
