Caborn vists Central YMCA club
Minister for sport Richard Caborn will visit the Central YMCA health and fitness club this week to officially open the charity’s Active Pilates Studio, Cardio Zone and also the new reception area.
The developments are the result of a £500,000 investment by the charity.
During his visit, Caborn will meet participants in some the charity’s exercise-related, community activity schemes, which include the YMCA Positive Health exercise referral scheme for people who are HIV positive and senior citizens from the local Chinese Health Living Centre.
He will also present a special Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) certificate to Helen Sapuoskova, who in successfully achieving qualifications leading to the YMCA Personal Trainer Award, has joined the REPs as its 20,000th member.
