Fair-trade brand, Cafedirect plans to launch a £5m share issue in the Spring, with a minimum investment of only £300.

The company said the move was in order to finance its continued business growth, fund the expansion of its brand range and to sustain growing consumer demand.

Cafedirect, owner of the UK's sixth largest coffee brand, will be listed on the Ethox trading exchange, a matched bargain market operated by Triodos Bank, one of Europe's leading ethical banks. Potential investors should call +44 (0)845 600 9662 for a copy of the prospectus.
