Clubhaus in talks with potential buyers

Country club operator, Clubhaus, has confirmed it is still in talks with three bidders. Negotiations began with a financial institution last December, but an agreement over the price hasn't been reached, so Clubhaus has started discussions with two other parties. Chair, Robert Bourne, says there is a great deal of opportunity to extend the business in the UK and Europe. Planning permission for Country Club conversions have been given for The Warwickshire, Benton Hall and Three Rivers clubs. Year end profits before tax and exceptional items were up to £8.7m from £8.1m.
