Convention centre to open in Lithuania
Le Meridien Villon Resort has unveiled its new Grand Opera Congress Hall in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius.
The new 10,000sq m convention centre accommodates up to 3,000 delegates and includes a library, 21 meeting rooms, a business centre and a fully licensed restaurant. The hotel, which is connected to the new facility, offers additional 18 meeting rooms.
Under its official new name, Le Meridien Villon Resort & Convention Centre, the site also offers extensive health and spa facilities and 193 bedrooms.
Ellen Monet, sales director, said: “The conference centre will give event organisers from around the world an extremely high comfort level in planning and staging world class events.”
