Corus disposes of 13 properties
Hotel chain, Corus Hotels, has finalised the sale of 13 sites from its disposal list of 25 properties.
Advisor, FPDSavills, has acted for Corus and recently sold the 76-room County Hotel in Ipswich and the 71-room Dukes Head in King’s Lynn. Both hotels were sold to Ipswich-based group Elizabeth Hotels.
Julian Troup, director, FDPSavills, said: “Corus is focusing on the disposal of its interests in the hotel industry. We anticipate that the current deal will result in actual sales, as well as further sales at competitive prices.”
Other properties still on Corus’ disposal list include the 96-room Telford Golf & Country Club and the 110-room Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington.
