Côte to open first Welsh site
Restaurant chain Côte, co-founded by entrepreneur Richard Caring and a group of former directors of the Strada chain in 2007, is to open a new site in Cardiff.
The 3,747sq ft restaurant will be Côte's 16th in the UK and will be located at the mixed-use Mermaid Quay development - owned by Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust and asset managers Sovereign Land.
Côte's arrival at Mermaid Quay will be the first of three new restaurants to open at the site.
Latin American restaurant Las Iguanas is to open a 4,692sq ft restaurant while local entrepreneur Margaret Studt is to open a VIP Lounge-branded champagne bar.
