Nicolas Descotes has been appointed general manager of Fowey Hall in Fowey, Cornwall.
Descotes formerly worked as hotel manager at the Les Deux Alpes ski resort in France, where he managed all the properties owned by Crystal and Thomson Holiday. He said: “I am delighted with my appointment at Fowey Hall. It’s an exciting time for the hotel, as von Essen works to enhance the existing facilities and ambiance of the property, while retaining the unique charm of the luxury family hotel brand."
