Details revealed about Jumeirah's European entry
Dubai-based international hotel firm Jumeirah is on schedule with its plans to operate its first European resort and spa development in Mallorca’s Port Soller area by early 2010.
The Spanish hotel will include 120 sea- or harbour-facing guestrooms and suites, all with a terrace or balcony. There will also be a large spa and wellness centre covering more than 21,527sq ft (2,000sq m).
The resort will be developed by the Brussels-based WingField Corporation NV.
Further details have also been revealed about the continuing global rollout of Jumeirah’s spa brand called Talise.
Launched in 2007, the first Talise-branded spa opened at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, followed by sites in China, Bermuda, Thailand and Dubai in 2008.
An additional Talise spa will now open in 2009 at the Jumeirah HanTang Xintiandi in Shanghai, China. Details: jumeirah.com
