Boutique operator Digme Fitness will open two new studios in London over the next two weeks, taking the number of sites in its portfolio to eight.

The studios – in Covent Garden and Bank – formerly operated under the Another Space brand, the boutique studio arm of premium health club operator Third Space.

Digme acquired Another Space earlier this year after Third Space abandoned its plans to grow in the boutique sector.

The two sites have been rebranded as Digme studios and have had an upgrade with new indoor bikes, boxing gloves and lockers.

Both sites will offer workouts focusing on indoor cycling, HIIT and yoga. Digme is also launching a brand new concept at the studios called Combat HIIT, which will focus on three key components – speed, power and explosiveness – and will feature punching, kicking and bag work.

Digme Covent Garden will open on 17 August, while Digme Bank will open its doors on 1 September.

Another Space was set up as a standalone boutique fitness concept by Third Space in 2016. The two Another Space studios sat alongside – but independent from – the full-service Third Space clubs.

After completing the acquisition in January 2020, Digme co-founder and CEO Geoff Bamber said: "We have always admired Another Space, with its high-quality team, beautiful studios and prime locations.

"We believe that this transaction will strongly benefit our existing community, with two new central London locations and more concepts to avail of, as well as benefiting the members of Another Space by giving them more opportunities to work out across London."

Digme launched its first studio in June 2016 in Richmond, southwest London and has since grown steadily, benefitting from the increasing popularity of the boutique fitness concept.
