Takeaway chain Domino's Pizza has increased its store opening target to 55 a year after reporting a 27.8 per cent increase in pre-tax profits for the year ending 27 December 2009.
The company, which currently operates more than 600 outlets across the UK, has also seen an 11 per cent increase in like-for-like sales during the first six weeks of the new year. Domino's chief executive officer Chris Moore said: "We continue to succeed, even in the current harsh economic conditions, because of our unrelenting focus on the quality of our pizzas, intense devotion to service and by marketing to our customers when and where they want to order."
