Emotion Fitness new for Hungary
The first two centres of new health club chain Emotion Fitness have opened in Hungary, in Balatonszárszó and Keszthely.
Founded by four Dutch companies – with backgrounds in fitness, marketing, finance and European law – Emotion Fitness plans to have 15 clubs in operation within five years, as well as further sites set up as franchises.
With an investment of 5m euro (£3.5m), the group plans to set up a franchise model for Hungary, Romania and Poland.
The next three Emotion clubs are due to be located in Siofok, Szekesfehervar and Pecs, in Hungary, and are expected to open this year.
The clubs will feature Life Fitness-supplied gyms, group cycling areas, saunas and sunbeds, while some will feature a squash court. Each centre also has a trendy lounge and offers a healthy menu.
