Fitness First celebrates miles of brand exposure
Fitness First is celebrating the success of the Fitness First Sport Relief Mile, which took place on 10 July.
As title sponsor of the event, the company gained unprecedented exposure at each of the 14 national events, as well as a brand presence at more than 100 locally organised miles.
“We felt that the timing was absolutely right to really develop awareness the Fitness First brand,” said Suzanne Ruzicka, UK sales and marketing director.
The brand received substantial coverage at both national and regional media level, culminating in the BBC’s extensive coverage of Sport Relief and the Mile Events on Saturday, July 10.
Additionally, as a direct call to action all participants were invited to visit a local Fitness First club to register and get in training, with every one of the more than 81,000 people completing the Mile receiving a complimentary day pass and membership offer.
