GWI Announces 2020 Partnership with Prevention magazine
The Global Wellness Institute (GWI) has partnered with American consumer magazine, Prevention to promote the Wellness Moonshot – a GWI initiative which is the first global commitment to eradicate preventable, chronic diseases.
In support of the Wellness Moonshot, Jessica Jesse, CEO of BuDhaGirl, created the Wellness Moonshot calendar, a hanging calendar and monthly resource to help people create a culture of wellness within their organisation or community and support The Wellness Moonshot.
Every month, Prevention will release a themed calendar page designed to inspire people to eradicate preventable, chronic diseases and reduce the human and economic costs associated with them.
Renee Moorefield, CEO of workplace wellness company Wisdom Works, will curate the monthly theme’s tips and guidance.
“Preventing chronic disease is something everyone at every level can do”, said Jesse. “The calendar was designed to help champion wellness in a creative, engaging manner.”
The partnership will begin in January 2020, with ‘emerge’ as the first theme. Readers will be encouraged to grow as wellness leaders who consciously empower the health and happiness of our families, workplaces and communities, while also cultivating personal wellbeing.
“We are thrilled to be extending the reach of The Wellness Moonshot,” said Susie Ellis, GWI chairman and CEO. “It is a monthly roadmap for meaningful change.”
Organizations and individuals can receive the 2020 calendar by making a donation to the nonprofit GWI.
