Gordon Ramsey heads for Tokyo Conrad
By
UK-based celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is to open his first restaurant in Japan later this year at the Conrad Tokyo.
The restaurant, which will offer both fine dining and casual all-day dining, will be located on the 28th floor of the hotel, which is scheduled to open in July.
Key staff, including the head chef, restaurant manager and sommelier will be transferred from London, where Ramsay’s restaurants boast a total of seven Michelin stars.
“Opening in Tokyo has always been my ambition,” said Ramsay. “It is such a cosmopolitan city with the most vibrant people and fantastic food.” Details: www.conradtokyo.co.jp
