Great White returns to Monterey Bay
For the fifth time, the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California has placed a young great white shark on exhibit.
The fish will be housed in the specially-designed one million-gallon Outer Bay exhibit as part of the attraction's Juvenile White Shark Project.
Monterey Bay Aquarium remains the only institution in the world to exhibit a white shark for more than 16 days, and has documented the successful return to the wild of each animal kept on exhibit.
The aquarium first exhibited a great white shark in 2004.
