Great Yarmouth plans to go on display
Plans for the transformation of Great Yarmouth's riverside area between Haven and Breydon bridges are to go show as part of a consultation exercise.
Residents will have until 17 December to view and comment on the proposals at the Town Hall and Gorleston Library. A two-day event is also planned for Market Gates later this month. Great Yarmouth Borough Council is working alongside urban regeneration company 1st East on the scheme, which features a hotel, more green space and improved access to the river.
1st East chief executive Philip Watkins said: "Within 15-20 years, the Great Yarmouth Waterfront area can become something the whole town will be proud of, an outstanding place to live, work and visit." The consultation commences on 5 November.
