Mexico-based resort and golf course developer Grupo Vidanta has announced that the new Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy at Nuevo Vallarta's Nayar Golf Course is to open in late June.
The facility in Nuevo Vallarta will be the Nicklaus group's third academy in Mexico and the 15th worldwide. It will provide visitors with a comprehensive golf instruction and training facility.
Tactical evaluation and on-course instruction will be on offer at the academy, together with training programmes and climate-controlled training bays incorporating a range of technologies.
A lit driving range with natural and artificial grass tees; multiple target greens; and putting and short game areas will also complement the teaching facilities at the golf academy.
Vidanta Golf managing director Jesus Torres said: "The new Nicklaus Golf Academy is another indicator of how Nuevo Vallarta is quickly becoming the premier golf destination in Mexico."
