Hadrian’s Wall Heritage appoints new chief executive
Hadrian’s Wall Heritage, the organisation responsible for the management of Hadrian’s Wall in northern England, has appointed Linda Tuttiett as new chief executive.
Tuttiett, who was former director of external relations at Arts Council England North East, will be taking over from acting chief executive Iain Herbert, who will stay on as operations director, in January next year.
Ann Green, chair of the Hadrian’s Wall Heritage board, said: “Linda brings with her an extremely wide range of strategic management, policy development and marketing experience, having worked on international and national tourism, heritage and cultural projects for more than 20 years.”
Tuttiett will be responsible for the marketing, preservation and conservation of the World Heritage Site and the areas it passes through.
