Happy Valley theme park opens in Tianjin, China
Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Co Ltd has opened its sixth theme park, a new attraction called Happy Valley, based in the Chinese metropolis of Tianjin.
Located in one of China’s five national central cities, Happy Valley is one of the largest theme parks in China, covering 350,000 sq m.
According to Ren Kelei, corporate general manager of Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town, the company plans to continuously invest in the Tianjin project in order to build it into a leading entertainment destination.
The new theme park – in the Dongli district of Tianjin – is the company’s sixth, with other parks in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chengdu and Wuhan.
