Hilton opens new Jiangsu Province hotel
A new 355-bedroom property has been launched by Hilton Hotels and Resorts (HHR) as part of the Nanjing Wanda Plaza development in China's Jiangsu Province.
The design of the new Hilton Nanjing aims to reflect the history of the former capital, with facilities including six dining options such as The Square, Yue Yang and Yue Xuan.
Seven meeting rooms and a 1,200sq m (12,917sq ft) ballroom are also on offer at the hotel, along with a business centre. It is HHR's 12th property to open in China.
Hilton Worldwide president, Asia Pacific, Martin Rinck said: "In recent years, Nanjing has seen tremendous commercial and industrial development, with more foreign investment flowing into the city.
"Ensuring that we have a presence in this important city in the bustling Jianye District gives an impetus to the development aspirations of Hilton Worldwide in China."
