Hilton partners with Chinese hospitality college
Hilton Worldwide has teamed up with Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College (LRJJ) to create a pathway for hospitality students to kick start their careers.
Under the Hilton Class program, Hilton Worldwide will offer LRJJ students work placements and training to improve their practical skills and knowledge across a number of areas of hospitality.
Under the partnership, 20 students will selected for the scheme by both Hilton Worldwide and LRJJ every year. Each will be offered three full-time internships at Hilton Worldwide's managed properties throughout their course, gaining 18 months of training at the leading hotel group in total.
Dave Osborne, senior vice president of HR at Hilton Worldwide, said: “We believe the initiative will not only benefit the industry, but also provide Hilton Worldwide access to best-in-class talent to support our ambitious goal of expanding from the current over 20 to more than 100 hotels over the next five years."
